After a successful season at 2016, more excitement comes at the second season specially after the appearance of Lucy's great-grandfather and the chasing of Wyatt and Rufus to the Mothership. Also we see our heroes team up with a famous race driver in 1950s.
While Season 1 was all about establishing our heroes, it appears that the big initiative in Season 2 was to work on spicing up the villains and playing up their own difficulties with messing with time.
So far, the show still has plenty of the B-movie gunfights and ridiculous anachronisms which characterized its initial appeal. Let's just hope the mounting conspiracies and exhausting twists don't dilute the retro-escapist vibe.
