Friendly and caring towards those around her, she does her best to help other people with their problems and attempts to achieve her dreams, but earns mixed results.Sonny has a crush on teen heart-throb actor Chad Dylan Cooper, who is the star of the teen prime-time soap opera MacKenzie Falls, which shares a studio on the same lot as So Random. However due to a rivalry between the casts of both shows, and Cooper's own arrogance, and obliviousness to life outside of Hollywood, she tends to conceal her feelings from others.
