One of Torence Brandon White's family members he seems to go from one extreme to another, as prior to acting he was a reporter/photographer, board operator at a radio station in San Antonio, and he even worked a few years for the government. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and also acquired his master's degree from Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio.Torence fell into acting in 2005 making his stage debut in B Mo Holy Production's "I'm Still a Man" written and directed by Bobby McMorris. He only had one scene and in that scene he was able to make an audience laugh. Torence says on that experience, "I was quiet surprised because I've always thought I was funny looking, but never funny." That one production brought out his love for acting that he never knew he thought he could feel.Since his acting debut in 2005 he has gone on to do many more stage productions and even wrote a short play called "I Never" for the San Antonio Renaissance Guild's Act One Series. He says, "It was a great experience seeing something I wrote come to life on stage and it was even more satisfying to see that it was well received by audiences."Torence still likes to perform on stage, but he enjoys working on TV and film. This is a career he hopes to stay in for a very long time. Show less «
