Sammy Bayes is better known as Sammy Dallas Bayes to the people of Oneonta, New York, a small town outside of Cooperstown, as the director of almost every Orpheus Theatre production since the mid-90s. These credits include the musicals "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", "Footloose", "Phantom of the Opera" and "Oliver!", which he has done twice.
