Myrat Bayram is known for his role of August Thompson in California Dreamin' and portraying Tyler in Laze Huang's drama Slug Watching.He was born in Mary, Turkmenistan. His father was a military man which affected his upbringing. His mother was a nurse by education. The hardships of life and the split of his parents often resulted in him being left in night schools where he had a tendency to play with his imaginary friends. With life's ups and downs he decided he needed to have a trade and initially was going to become a doctor or a police officer "I always went back and forth between these". At 14 he decided to break the news to his parents about his plans to become an actor for which he was castigated although not for long.After finishing high school he was sent to Ukraine and there having spent almost 6 years he received his master's degree in International Economy. After graduation he was relentless about acting and despite his parents objections he decided to leave his home country for the United States where he studied English in Brooklyn, New York for 7 months and then moved to Los Angeles, California to study acting and pursue his acting career. In Los Angeles he continued learning the language and signed up for acting classes.He studied acting at Ivana Chubbuck studios.
