Mara Omaljev, also known as Marija Omaljev, is a Croatian actress born in Novi Sad, Serbia. She was accepted to the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo where she studied Acting for four years. Mara performed in the plays of Moliere, Gogol, Sidran, Popovic, Williams, Camus, Shakespeare etc. on the main stage of the National Theatre Sarajevo and starred as a leading actress in more than 600 episodes in numerous Croatian and Bosnian TV Series and Sitcoms. As her TV and Theatre career blossomed, she also starred in German, Austrian, US, Turkish, Bosnian and Croatian Feature Films. Marija-Mara Omaljev soon becomes one of the most recognized actresses in that part of Europe, becomes an established actress able to transform and bounce from dramatic roles to hilarious comedy characters.
