Kristin is the writer and director of Undertow and Every Body Leaves, both of which premiered at Cinefest. She was nominated for best director at the Northern Ontario Music and Film awards in 2015. Kristin also writes for theatre. Her first play, $38,000 For A Friendly Face, won the 2007 Samuel French Canadian Playwrights Contest. It has been produced across Canada and in the U.S. Her third play, Curved, won the 2016 QUONTA festival and is being produced in Ithica, NY, in 2017.
