Jabari has been involved in the TV business since the age of 11. At the age of 12, Jabari became involved with the church' Media Ministry, which was aired live on Sunday television. In 2004, his film career started when he was 16 years of age. He soon advanced into the production part of television broadcast and journalism. His first set began as a PA on "Thief." While in the 9th grade, he was allowed to 'Technical Direct' on live TV Broadcast for Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is steadily continuing on the path of broadcasting and film for more than 6 years now. Jabari has not only sat behind the technical board directing church live sermons, but also for 'Team Impact," and professional Hockey games for CHL. In his first year of directing he began to produce and edit commercials for TV.While in the 10th grade, Jabari was 1 of 5 students to be selected to be a national TV News Anchor, out of over 900 High School students around the country. He traveled to Chanel One News in Los Angeles, California for this event. This is when he made up his mind that this would be his life-long career of his choice. Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina hit and destroyed New Orleans, but fortunately for Jabari, the film industry moved up north to Shreveport.Still at a young age and after working on the film "The Thief," he decided to produce and direct a short film entitled "Living for Love." This project landed in the Louisiana Film Festival and won 1st place for 'Best in Show.' This instilled him to direct and produce as another life-long career choice for his is multi-talented. His next project, "A Stranger Within," was completed in 2007 and was a hit in Louisiana and east Texas. This film was premiered at Regal Cinemas in Bossier city, Louisiana and sold out all seats in theater 2.Jabari's acting career, however, started in 2007 when he booked his first role on a major network. The TV for film was called "Queen Sized." It was all uphill after that. Jabari has accumulated over a dozen acting credits in major projects. Taking on roles in films like Universal Pictures "Pitch Perfect," and TV Shows like "NCIS: New Orleans, and "Starcross."As he continued his career path in film, acting and other works in 2013 he landed a job as an Entertainment Reporter for KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He did this for over a year and learned immense information and training in the film industry. During this period, he also worked on a short film project entitled "Scotch on the Rocks" and was nominated for his role as 'Best Actor' at the Louisiana Film Prize. This project was also accepted in the New Orleans Film Festival.Jabari's career is far from being over and is steadily climbing. Currently, he is a reporter for the 'Only' Entertainment Newscast of it's kind, "News with a Twist" at (WGNO-ABC) New Orleans, La. He continues and will always continue to 'Entertain' and 'Perform' as an actor and it doesn't matter what is current day job is he is always supportive in any role. In 2016, Jabari also appeared as a guest host on After "The View."Jabari is also a big music lover. So much that he has a few singles out in digital stores. His most popular one is "Weakspot," and "Rushing Me to Leave." Even though you'll randomly see him on TV, you may also see him appear on the stage singing.His objective is to change the world through entertainment by giving people hope and showing love.
