Born in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, actor and director Frederic Robinson got his first taste of acting in elementary school playing a fox in the school's year end production. But it wasn't until he was in his 20's that the acting bug took hold and carved the career path he continues to follow today. But Frederic was not happy just following an acting career. His interest in all avenue's of film making made him eager to learn more. Starting out as a casting assistant, he then worked as an extras agent before opening Delorean Talent Management in 2002. After selling the Agency in 2003, Frederic went on to open up his own Video Production Company and immediately picked up the job of directing, shooting and editing 26 episodes of a local reality home makeover show called Designing Spaces. During that time Frederic also starred in and produced the film 'gone.' which co-starred Cory Monteith from the hit TV show GLEE. The film went to Cannes in 2008 and was nominated for best film at the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival. In 2010, Frederic won for 'Best Performance' in the short film 'Detective Fawkes and the Victim's Vixen' and has just starred in a 2012 short film called 'Countdown' which has been getting great reviews by up and coming director Devyn Brugge. In 2011, in order to enhance the quality of his productions, Frederic also opened up Studio on the Rock....a rent-able photo/film studio on Vancouver Island. As such, Frederic has also been keeping busy directing a number of projects including 'Get Creative' a DVD consisting of 10 music videos for three time Juno nominated kids band 'The Kerplunks'. To no surprise, Frederic continues to pursue his dream and first love of acting while maintaining a career working behind the camera.
